The Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo brings Africa's premier business exchange to Masvingo, running from 9 to 12 September under the banners #youthintourism and #explorethebeautyofzimbabwe. Organized with the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training, the expo showcases tourism businesses and vocational training initiatives from across the region. On 8 September, ahead of the main expo, the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority runs a Gastronomy Masterclass and a MICE (events planners) Masterclass, both at Urban Lifestyle Hotel, alongside a Tourism Boards CEOs Roundtable at Great Zimbabwe Hotel, with all three sessions running from 0900 to 1300hrs. Worth a visit for anyone interested in Zimbabwe's tourism sector.
