Free on the day of the launch
The City of Harare officially opens its 2026 swimming season at Les Brown Swimming Pool, with free admission for everyone on launch day. The event runs under the themes of child protection, drug and substance abuse prevention, healthy lifestyles, and youth empowerment, and doubles as a reminder that the city runs 13 public pools across Harare — Mbare, Highfield, Mufakose, Mt Pleasant, Cranborne, Waterfalls, Highlands, Mabelreign, Avondale, Greendale, Arcadia, Les Brown, and Hatfield. A good one for families looking to make the most of the city's public pools this season.
