Josh Meck is a Harare jazz fusion bassist and singer who blends Zimbabwean traditional rhythms like katekwe, jiti, and mhande with jazz. He won the Zimbabwe Music Award for Best Jazz Album for his 2022 release "Nhaka Yemusha," and has collaborated with artists including Max Wild, Mike Del Ferro, Nomsa Mazwai, and Steve Dyer. This Friday Jazz Service concert features special guest Mwenje Mathole.
