The 3rd edition of Bira reMbira takes over Glamis Showgrounds for a free, day-long pungwe of traditional mbira music, held as a tribute to the late Ambuya Stella Chiweshe. The lineup runs deep, with Victor Kunonga, Feli Nandi, Andy Muridzo, Kurai Makore, Sasha, Diana Mangwenya, Samkange, Vee Mhofu, Texas, Jah Lemmy, Gushungo Jaka Band and dozens of mbira ensembles and crews performing across the day. A meaningful outing for anyone wanting to experience traditional mbira music in its full communal setting.
